Shift: Overnight (2200 – 0630 hrs), including weekends and vacation coverage Core Responsibilities • Surveillance & Monitoring: Actively monitor security cameras and critical facility areas to detect unauthorized activity or safety hazards. • Alarm Response: Promptly answer, assess, and prioritize incoming security, fire, and environmental alarms. • Emergency Dispatching: Dispatch uniformed security guards to alarm locations and coordinate emergency responses efficiently. • Property Management: Properly voucher, log, secure, and return lost-and-found property to its rightful owners. • Data Entry: Input and maintain accurate personnel records, access control data, and incident reports into the security computer system. Shift & Schedule • Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (2200 – 0630 hrs). • Availability: Must be available to work weekends and provide flexible scheduling to cover team vacations and gaps. Qualifications & Must-Haves • License Requirement: Must possess a valid, current NYS Security Guard License. • Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems, data entry, and multi-screen monitoring environments. • Communication: Clear, calm, and professional verbal communication skills for radio dispatch and public interaction. • Reliability: Exceptional attendance record and the ability to work independently during late-night and weekend hours.
